Prof. Dr. Gökçe Özel

Prof. Dr. Gökçe Özel, an academic thought leader in the field of aesthetics in Turkey, graduated from Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa English Faculty of Medicine and completed her 5-year specialization in Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery at Ankara Dışkapı Training and Research Hospital. She completed her academic career at Kırıkkale University Faculty of Medicine and received the title of professor in 2021. She is the first and only female ENT physician in Turkey to be certified by the European and American Board for Certification in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (IBCFPRS).

With over 20 years of active clinical practice, Dr. Özel has more than 100 scientific articles in national and international journals. Prof. Dr. Gökçe Özel, who has extensive knowledge and experience in aesthetic procedures for the face, has served as the general secretary of the Turkish Facial Plastic Surgery Association, the president of the Facial Plastic Surgery School, and the president of the All-Face Rejuvenation Congress and Face Minima congresses. She is a member of the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery and an international advisory board member of the Complications in Medical Aesthetic Collaborative (CMAC). She guides physicians on complication and side effect management for filler, botox, and mesotherapy complications not only in Turkey but also worldwide.

She is an instructor at the Gigaa Endolifting Academy and uses the Velas II 30B device, the only FDA-approved device in her clinic. Under the umbrella of the Gigaa Endolifting Academy, she provides practical training to many of her colleagues on the details of the Endolifting laser procedure, methods to avoid complications, how to select the ideal patient, and dangerous areas on the face.

Prof. Dr. Gökçe ÖZEL has her own online Academy training website (www.gokceozelacademy.com). On this Academy site, she provides detailed lessons to her colleagues on Botulinum toxin, dermal filler applications, and skin rejuvenation applications that she performs in her own clinical practice. At the same time, she organizes practical training for her colleagues in her clinic on these subjects. As a physician who has been performing upper and lower eyelid surgery, eyebrow lift surgery, and stem cell applications for years, she has been organizing practical eye aesthetic (Blepharoplasty) surgery courses for ophthalmologists and ENT physicians since 2000. Prof. Dr. Gökçe ÖZEL, who serves as an instructor in the Aesthetic and Cosmetic Applied Certificate Training Programs (2025-2026) organized by the Ministry of Health, has a Medical Aesthetic and hair transplantation certificate.

Prof. Dr. Gökçe Özel actively serves her patients in her own clinic located at Mustafa Kemal Boulevard, 2133. Sokak No: 4, Çankaya district, Ankara. Prof. Dr. Gökçe Özel's private practice has a health tourism authorization certificate and serves patients from abroad.
